Cluckety Cluch Patchwork Log Cabin Chicken

Use as a cute egg cozy or fill with rice for a fun door stopper or stuff with toy fill for a great pin cushion or use as an ornament as it is.  We have left an opening in the back to allow to insert eggs or chocolate eggs inside the chicken.  It makes a wonderful table decoration.

Foundation piecing instructions are for machine sewing.

Material Requirements:

2 x FQ of contrasting fabric for the pyramid shape

2 x 1” square pieces of fabric for the centre of the log cabin blocks

1 x approx 10” squares of fabric for top tail “feather”

1 x approx 10” squares of fabric for bottom tail “feathers”

Yellow fabric piece the bill (beak)

Red FELT or fabric pieces for the comb & wattle

2 buttons for eyes

Sewing thread
