Instructions are for machine sewing

Material requirements:

6 x FQ assorted cream fabrics

6 x FQ assorted blue or dark fabrics 

OR a Jelly Roll of 2½” wide strips.

16” (40cm) fabric for straight double binding.

Backing fabric to fit the quilt size.

For example:

1¾yds (1.6m) one piece of fabric from 44” quillt fabric bolt width, but please note that the sides are a very snug fit!

OR

2½yds (2.4m) if making a horizontal seam & allowing for 4” extra allowance per side.

* Batting to fit the quilt size.

* Thread for piecing.

* Thread for machine and hand quilting.

The usual quilting tools: cutting mat, rotary cutter and quilt ruler.
