Material requirements:

Assorted fabric scraps

We used 9 colours; 

aqua, blue, pink, yellow, orange, green, grey, red and natural.  

(Total requirement is ¾yd (70cm) of quilt fabrics or an amount similar to 3” by 42” fabric strip per block (just to give an idea of total quantity)

Or make all 9 blocks identical: each block uses 13 different fabrics, so 13 x 3” by 42” strips of fabric is required for uniform look.

¼yd (25cm) fabric for binding 

24” (60cm) square piece of backing fabric

24” (60cm) square piece of batting

Piecing thread

Quilting thread for machine or hand
